Dinesh Vijan Announces Shiddat Starring Sunny Kaushal, Radhika Madan, Mohit Raina, Diana Penty
This morning, Dinesh Vijan made a new movie announcement. His upcoming venture will be called Shiddat – Journey Beyond Love and stars Vicky Kaushal’s younger brother Sunny, Radhika Madan, Mohit Raina and Diana Penty in main roles.

Sunny and Radhika will be paired opposite each other whereas Mohit and Diana will be the other jodi in the film. Shiddat will be directed by Kunal Deshmukh of Jannat and Tum Mile fame. The film will go on floors in September and will be filmed across Punjab, London and Paris.


According to a statement released by the production house, the film will have two parallel plot-lines tracking the story of both couples. The story is written by Sridhar Raghavan and Dheeraj Rattan. Vijan in a statement said, "Well I got married recently, so I’m feeling it! But on a serious note in our day and age where love is taken so lightly, it’s difficult to imagine the lengths people would go to for it. Shiddat is not only a story about love but the distance one travels for it. The passion that overcomes maybe all senses or logic to do things that you wouldn’t usually imagine, the belief in something with all your heart and the drive to achieve it- that’s Shiddat."

Presently, Sunny is busy shooting for Sneha Taurani's Bhangara Paa Le, in which he will be seen opposite Rukshar Dhillon. Then, he also has Ranveer Singh starrer ’83. Radhika is shooting for Homi Adajania’s Angrezi Medium, in which she plays the daughter of Irrfan Khan. Mohit Raina, best remembered for the mythological  show Mahadev, made his big screen debut in the Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike that became a superhit at the box-office. Diana Penty, on the other hand, was last seen in Mudassar Aziz’s Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi.
